LUTHIONIA

Besides the seven major political parties that feature in the Chamber of Representatives, there are several smaller parties that may yet grow to become important on a national level. Here is a list of those parties, and what they stand for.

 

The New Democats

 

The New Democrats are a centrist party that support a balance of a degree of social equality and a degree of social hierarchy. They oppose political changes which would result in a significant shift of society either strongly to the left or the right.

 

Nederlandstalig Luthionië

 

Nederlandstalig Luthionië (Dutch Luthionia) is a nationalistic party that believes Luthionia should have only one official language, Dutch. They are also known for their extremely strict views on immigration.

 

Christian Luthionia

 

Christian Luthionia believes that the Christian Democrats have moved too far away from their Christian roots, and that is why they have created their own party. They are highly religious and believe that Luthionia should make Christianity its official State Religion.

 

Red!

 

Red! is an extreme communist party, campaigning for a purely communist government. Their views are extremely left-wing, and their utopia would be a communist Mazeria.

 

Back to Belgium

 

Back to Belgium is a party that wishes to see Luthionia as a part of Belgium again, as it was before its independence in 2002. Other than that, the party's members have mixed political views ranging from far left to far right.

 

The Future Party

 

The Future Party is based around the technological advancements of the past decade. They support the creation of a 'Space Army', artificially intelligent employees and a colony on Mars. 

 

Luthionian Monarchists

 

The Luthionian Monarchists wish to install a Monarchy in Luthionia. They haven't yet released who they think should become King or Queen, but there have been rumours they would want to install Philippe I of Belgium, who was King of Belgium before it became a Republic, as our King.

 

The Pirate Party

 

The Pirate Party finds it essential that the average citizen plays an important role in political decisions. Their focus lies primarily on the ethical side of politics more so than the economical one.
